The majority of the property at Follette Farm is in a conservation easement with the Columbia Land Conservancy (CLC). The easement protects the integrity of this natural resource from future development in perpetuity. We are proud to be the most recent stewards of this pastoral and wooded property.
We recognize and honor that Follette Farm sits on the unceded ancestral homelands of the Stockbridge-Munsee band of the Mohican people. They were subject to genocide, coerced into assimilation, and forcibly removed from their homelands to what is now known as Wisconsin. They continue to retain their unbroken status as a Sovereign Native Nation.
We believe that access to land is a sacred and collective right, and are committed to contributing to our local community in this spirit.
